Newcastle United face PSV Eindhoven at St James’ Park on Wednesday night in their penultimate league phase match of the Champions League. The Magpies know that a win would guarantee their progress to the knockout stages, but they will have to do that without a handful of key players.
Eddie Howe’s options continue to be stretched due to a number of injury issues within the group – although there is hope that he could have the services of Will Osula available to him. However, with a number of longer-term injuries, there won’t be too many players that Howe will expect to have back available to him in the coming weeks.
