We’ve got plenty of things to discuss this morning so here’s what’s on the agenda.
It’s an international week, meaning we have a bit of time to take stock.
There are plenty of themes and talking points to discuss, but let’s start the day by looking at the top of the table and assessing whether the battle lines are already being drawn in the race for the title:
- Arsenal claim a fifth win of the season to move a point above defending champions Liverpool in the table
- Arne Slot’s Reds fall to their second consecutive league defeat and a third straight loss in all competitions
- Battling wins for Tottenham, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Everton put them in a strong position in the top half of the table
- Manchester City also manoeuvred themselves into position with a 1-0 win at Brentford
- After a season’s hiatus, could the eight-time Premier League champions be ready to launch a title challenge yet again?
