  Andres, 20, has emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s most promising pivots, since moving to Stuttgart, the Spanish midfielder has cemented his place as a starter, often keeping Angelo Stiller out of the lineup. He has played eight of the club’s 10 matches this season, scoring a goal and maintaining a 94% passing accuracy. His performances have earned him a place in Spain’s Under-21 national team, further validating his growth. Real Madrid still own 50% of his rights after Stuttgart paid €3m for the rest, meaning reacquiring him would only cost around €10m. Madrid reportedly believe the price will not be an issue.

  Right-footed and technically sound, Andres is viewed as a natural organiser and defensive midfielder a “Rodri-type” profile who could succeed Tchouameni in the future. However, he says he does not like being compared to the Manchester City star, though he said it is a “privilege and a blessing” to be seen as similar to the Ballon d’Or winner.
