Aston Villa will take a 1-1 draw into the second leg of their UEFA Youth League second-round tie with KF Skënderbeu, after splitting the spoils in Albania on Tuesday afternoon.

Jimmy Shan’s Under-19s travelled to Korçë where, after Ben Broggio saw a penalty saved, Rory Wilson gave the Young Lions the lead shortly after, only to be soon pegged back by Ensar Beqiri’s almost immediate response.

The Villans will now look to get the better of the Albanian outfit when hosting the return leg at Bodymoor Heath on Wednesday, November 5 (ko 1pm), having opened up this season’s European campaign with a draw.
