Celtic have made an £8m offer to sign Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi in a loan-to-buy deal, according to reports.
The Hoops have reportedly reignited their interest in the 23-year-old winger, who is expected to be on the move this month after returning from loan at Turkish side Caykur Rizespor.
Celtic are believed to be looking to sign Rak-Sakyi on loan with an option to buy, while Palace are looking to secure an obligation to make the deal permanent after the season.
Rak-Sakyi, who spent last season on loan at Championship side Sheffield United, is under contract with Palace until the summer of 2027.
Celtic Keen on Jesurun Rak-Sakyi
According to Sports World Ghana, Celtic are facing stiff competition for Rak-Sakyi’s signature this month, with both Swansea and Stoke City also expressing interest in the forward.
Rak-Sakyi enjoyed a promising four-month spell in Turkey, scoring four goals and providing an assist in 11 league appearances for Caykur Rizespor.
Palace are open to allowing the 23-year-old to leave this month, but would prefer any loan deal to include an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Their stance is reportedly complicating matters for interested clubs, with Rak-Sakyi rejecting a permanent move to Swansea despite the Welsh outfit presenting an offer on Palace’s terms.

After joining Palace from Chelsea’s academy in 2019, Rak-Sakyi has made only 10 senior appearances for the club and registered no goal contributions in 312 minutes on the field.

Celtic Eyeing a New Striker
Along with their reported interest in Rak-Sakyi, Celtic are also looking to bolster Martin O’Neill’s options up front this month.
According to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano, the Hoops have submitted an offer for Shamrock Rovers starlet Michael Noonan, who is also a target for German side Hoffenheim.
Other reports have also linked Celtic with interest in Lorient forward Mohamed Bamba, while Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana appears to be another option after returning from loan at Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk.
Right-back Julian Araujo remains Celtic’s only signing this month, while Odin Holm and Stephen Welsh have both returned to the club from their respective loan spells.
