Chelsea have made it their mission to sign up the stars of the future from South America already, and are reportedly targeting adding another name to that list.
Andrey Santos has emerged as a contender to start games for the Blues after being found in Brazil, while Kendry Paez is playing a key role on loan at Strasbourg.
The highlight South American addition up to now though has been Estevao Willian, who has frequently been named by Enzo Maresca in his starting side since his summer arrival.
Chelsea fans have been impressed with Estevao since he joined, and despite wanting established stars will always welcome players who promise to be amongst the best in the world in the future.

After Estevao’s departure from the Brazilian league, one of the standout individuals is Rayan, currently playing for Vasco de Gama.
The 19-year-old has been a regular in the first team for a number of years now, and seems to have appeared on Chelsea’s radar.
According to Tribuna, the winger is on the club’s list of targets as they look to continue to invest in young talents from around the world.
The Blues are well stocked for talents in the attacking areas. Geovany Quenda is another youngster who they have spent big money to bring him, with him set to join the first team at the end of this season.

Who is Rayan?
Already a regular for Brazil’s U20 side, Rayan has plenty of games under his belt at a very early stage of his career.
The winger has 12 goals and an assist to his name in the Brazilian league this season, with his side currently sat 11th in the table.
Chelsea’s keen eye on bringing in talented youngsters has been a source of frustration amongst groups of the fanbase, who believe that these additions are coming at the expense of players who can make an immediate impact on the first team squad.
This certainly looks the case for Enzo Maresca, who at this stage looks reluctant to utilise some of his new signings in a time when he is missing some key players.
