Middlesbrough will face a patched-up Stoke City team when they face their promotion rivals at the bet365 Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Boro go into the game five places and eight points above seventh placed Stoke and know they will face a side that has suffered a rash of injuries in recent weeks.
Indeed Mark Robins’ striker cordon has been decimated, with the latest victim Divin Mubama taken off ten minutes into the second half of Saturday’s 0-0 draw against QPR with what Robins claimed was a serious leg injury.

Even the club’s loan players have been struck down with both Nathan Lowe and Emre Tezgel finding their time away cut short by injury.
