The Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to four-star running back recruit Acely Brown, who is a member of the class of 2028. Brown is a rising junior in high school and plays for Petal High School in Petal, Mississippi.

The 6-foot, 175-pound running back is a track and field athlete with excellent speed. He also plays basketball and is a good student with a 4.0 GPA.

Brown is the No. 2 running back recruit in the class of 2028, per 247Sports. He’s the No. 39 recruit in the country and the second-best prospect in Mississippi.

During the fall, the talented running back prospect visited Mississippi State and LSU. Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia will try to get Brown on campus for a visit.

Georgia and running backs coach Josh Crawford are the sixth school to offer the Petal standout. The Bulldogs join Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Florida State and Tennessee. As a freshman in high school, Brown posted more than 1,000 total yards and 12 total touchdowns.

“After a great conversation with Josh Crawford, I’m blessed to receive my sixth Division I offer from the University of Georgia,” Brown said via social media. Georgia has just one commitment in the 2028 recruiting cycle, but it is from quarterback Jayden Wade, who is the No. 1 recruit in the country.
