Newcastle XI vs Brighton – Confirmed team news, injuries and predicted lineup for Premier League

Newcastle United will have Jacob Ramsey available for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Brighton.

Ramsey is fit again for Newcastle United after recovering from an ankle injury he suffered way back in August.

Eddie Howe has confirmed Ramsey will be in the squad for Brighton vs Newcastle United, a fixture that hasn’t been particularly kind to the Magpies.

Indeed, Newcastle haven’t won away at Brighton in the Premier League era and will need to be at their best if they are to continue their recent good form.

After a difficult start to the season, Newcastle beat Union Saint-Gilloise and Nottingham Forest in the Champions League and the Premier League respectively to raise morale.

Ahead of the game, here’s all you need to know about the latest team news.

Newcastle United confirmed team vs Brighton

The Newcastle United manager confirmed on Friday that his side had not suffered any fresh injuries over the course of the international break.

Howe revealed that Joelinton was a slight fitness concern but that appears to have passed.

Ramsey will be in the squad and could potentially replace the Brazilian in the starting lineup.

No update was offered on Lewis Miley after he pulled out of the England U21 squad with a calf injury.
