Sources: West Ham told ‘cut-price’ Adama Traore offer could be accepted

West Ham could agree a cut-price deal for Adama Traore as Fulham seek to get him off their books before his contract expires next summer.

Before Nuno Espirito Santo joined the Hammers, over the summer he tried to bring Traore to Nottingham Forest.

Now at the London Stadium, Traore could be on his way to West Ham in what would be a long-awaited reunion between the pair.

Espirito Santo thinks very highly of Traore and a move could prove mutually beneficial for both Fulham and the Irons.

Fulham have ‘last chance’ in January to offload Traore before he leaves on free next summer

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Portuguese is eager to be reunited with the Spaniard following their productive time at Wolves.

Sources told Football Insider that Espirito Santo wants to rekindle his relationship with Traore after he turned the winger into a creative maverick.

Ever since the ex-Forest boss left Molineux, the number 11 has been unable to rediscover that form and now looks set to turn down any proposals from Fulham for a new deal.
