It has been an interesting window for the Bantams; they have already said goodbye to club legend and all-time leading goalscorer Andy Cook as he drops down to League Two to join Grimsby Town. But Joe White would not be the only midfield loan signing, with Louie Sibley having already made the move earlier in the window.
With a long and difficult campaign and several teams all vying for limited positions, squad depth is vital. Injuries start playing a bigger role in a side’s form, and if a club is not adequately prepared, then it could derail their shot at back-to-back promotions.
Bradford City are a huge club, one that should arguably never have been left to rot in League Two for so long. But now, they are riding the crest of a wave, and they need to make the most of this upwards trajectory in such an open division.

Any signing is a risk, but one that struggled to break through at a division rival is particularly so. Whilst there is no suggestion that the midfielder will be moving to Valley Parade as an immediate starter, there will be some expectation that he can at least contribute to his side’s campaign.
At MK Dons last season, he was fantastic, scoring six goals in 34 appearances from the centre of the park. But to only appear six times in the division above could be a cause for concern.
Even when fit, he struggled to show manager Richie Wellens what he could do, which ultimately meant an early return.
Bradford City will be hoping they can reignite his League Two form this season.
